StatementCSV

Convert a Chase statement PDF to CSV

StatementCSV reads the transaction lines in a Chase statement PDF in your browser and gives you a CSV with Date, Description, and Amount columns. The free preview shows how many transactions it found and the first 5 rows, so you can check your own PDF before you pay.

How the Chase label works

When the text of your PDF contains “JPMorgan Chase” or “chase.com”, the app shows Chase next to the transaction count. If it doesn't find that text, it shows Generic. The label is only a label. Every statement goes through the same line parser, so the preview rows are what counts.

What's in the CSV

A header row of Date,Description,Amount, then one row per transaction, with each value in double quotes. There's no balance, category, or account column.

Steps

  1. Download the statement PDF from your Chase account.
  2. Open the StatementCSV app and drop in the PDF. The free preview shows the label, the transaction count, and the first 5 rows. If it finds no rows, don't buy.
  3. If the rows look right, unlock it for $9.99 one-time.
  4. Edit any date, description, or amount, remove rows you don't want, then download the CSV.

Privacy

You never enter your Chase login, and there's no Plaid connection. The PDF is read in your browser with pdf.js and isn't uploaded.
