StatementCSV

Import a bank statement PDF into Xero

When your bank only gives you a PDF statement, StatementCSV turns it into a CSV file you can bring into Xero with its bank statement import.

Steps

  1. Open the statement PDF in the StatementCSV app. It's read in your browser, not uploaded. It detects Chase, American Express, Bank of America, Citi, and Capital One statements and labels anything else Generic. The free preview shows how many transactions it finds and the first 5 rows.
  2. Check the rows in the preview and fix anything that looks off.
  3. Unlock the CSV for $9.99 one-time and download it.
  4. In Xero, import the CSV as a bank statement and map the columns: Date to the transaction date, Amount to the amount, and Description to the description.
  5. Compare the imported total with the PDF before you reconcile.
