StatementCSV

Discover statement PDF to CSV

StatementCSV doesn't have a Discover-specific format. Discover PDFs go through the same general parser as every other statement and show up labeled Generic. Whether it works depends on how your PDF's text is laid out, so try it in the free preview before you pay.

What the parser looks for

Lines that don't match, such as headers, balance summaries, and notices, are skipped. The parser reads the last amount on each line and keeps the sign as printed.

Credit card signs

On a card statement, purchases and payments or credits can be printed with different signs, or with none. StatementCSV doesn't flip them for you, so check which direction is negative before you import the file into a budget or bookkeeping tool. The credit card guide has more on this.

Things to check

Steps

  1. Download the card statement PDF from Discover online.
  2. Open the StatementCSV app and drop in the PDF. The free preview shows the detected bank, how many transactions it found, and the first 5 rows.
  3. If the count and rows look right, unlock the download for $9.99 one-time. If it finds nothing or the rows are wrong, don't buy.
  4. Fix any date, description, or amount in the table, then save the CSV with Date, Description, and Amount columns.

Privacy
